Born in 1992 in Oxnard, California, Loren is the eldest of five children. As a child, Loren excelled in his studies, being placed in advanced classes at the age of 10 and graduated from high school Magna Cum Laude in 2011.

When Loren left high school for community college, he began to get involved civically, helping with get out the vote efforts in a critical congressional race. Since attending Ventura College in 2013, Loren has worked and volunteered on several campaigns on the national, state, and local levels. Along with campaign work, Loren has a strong background with researching public policy, both at the state and local level.

After graduating Ventura College and California State University Channel Islands for his degree in Political Science, Loren moved to Athens, Georgia to complete a master’s degree in Nonprofit Organizations. Currently, he lives in Denver, Colorado, working as a contributor for DenverUrbanism.
